I was born in the Philippines and grew up in San Francisco, Ca. Currently, I’m residing in Utah. Growing up in a diverse area and experiencing different places has opened my eyes to the importance of inclusion, empathy, and creative solutions.
For my undergraduate, I pursued a Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration. After graduation and working in the healthcare field for a couple of years, I realized that I was yearning for a more creative route whilst also utilizing my skills from healthcare. I was looking into graphic design and later came across UX design by browsing through Coursera's courses. I decided to take on the Google UX Design Professional Certificate and from there I really enjoyed the process of creating a product that can make a huge difference and impact in many people’s lives.
As of now, I’m enrolled in Designlab’s UX Academy to further improve and build upon my skill set. Naturally, I am a creative individual who enjoys taking film street photography, embroidery, and making collages in my journal (better known as junk journaling). This experience in Designlab will connect my innate love for creativity and the skill sets from my healthcare background of being analytical, empathetic, detailed, and a problem solver.
